OTOKAR WILL BE THE NEW BUS BRAND ON WARSAW STREETS

Otokar will be on the streets of Warsaw, launching a new era in Warsaw transportation with its modernly designed buses. The Municipal Transportation Authority in Warsaw has signed a new contract for transport services with Arriva who chose Otokar’s Vectio C to provide transportation services. As of December 2018, 34 9.2-meter buses of Otokar will be in service.

Turkey’s leading bus brand Otokar continues to provide excellent transportation services with its comfortable buses in 50 countries, mostly in Europe. With its 55 years of experience in bus design and manufacturing, the buses of Otokar are prefered in numerous countries for their design, ergonomics and technology. Otokar’s internationally acclaimed buses will be on the streets of Poland’s capital city, Warsaw this time.

On May 28, The Municipal Transport Authority of Warsaw (ZTM) signed a new contract with Arriva for transportation services with the use of 9.2-meter buses. Arriva, one of the largest providers of passenger transport in Europe, chose Turkey’s leader company Otokar’s Vectio C buses to provide transportation services in Warsaw. Otokar will provide 34 units of 9-meter buses for Arriva. As of December 22, the Otokar buses will be on the streets of Warsaw and the contract will be in force until the end of 2026.

SPECIAL BUSES DESIGNED ONLY FOR WARSAW

Otokar VECTIOs to be served in Warsaw, will be equipped with air conditioning, monitoring, ticket machines, voice announcement system, LCD screens with passenger information, emergency communication and state-of-the-art localization. Passenger door opening system “hot button” will be also part of the electronic equipment of the VECTIOs. The buses will be furnished with Warsaw’s architectural symbols. Otokar provides comfort to passengers with its low entrance floor and extensive internal volume. Besides its modern look, environmentally friendly engine, it stands out with its low operating costs.
