Otokar VECTIO C Chosen by LibertyBus for Jersey's Fleet Modernization

Otokar expands its presence in the European market by delivering VECTIO C buses to LibertyBus on the Island of Jersey. The vehicles will replace ageing Euro III buses and serve in public transport.

Türkiye's leading automotive manufacturer Otokar, continues to strengthen its position across Europe with VECTIO C deliveries to the Island of Jersey. LibertyBus, operated by Tower Transit part of the Kelsian Group has selected Otokar's 9.6-metre long, 2.35-metre wide medium-size low-entry bus VECTIO C to replace older Euro III vehicles serving Jersey's transport network. The 22 buses to be delivered will be used in public transport services as part of LibertyBus's transition to a cleaner and more environmentally friendly fleet.

The selection came after LibertyBus conducted an extensive evaluation of suitable buses across Europe. VECTIO C was chosen for its proven capability, operational fit, and the model’s strong reputation among European operators.

For the Jersey network, the vehicles have been further customized to provide increased seating capacity and enhanced on-board comfort, supporting LibertyBus’s commitment to improving the passenger experience. This customization capability reflects Otokar's flexible approach to meeting diverse operator needs across different markets.

VECTIO C is currently in service across a wide range of urban and regional networks throughout Europe. This strong market acceptance reflects the confidence European operators place in Otokar's engineering expertise.
