Otokar Participates in Municipal EXPO 2026 in Bulgaria with ATLAS 11
Türkiye’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer Otokar participates in Municipal EXPO 2026, in Albena, Bulgaria. At the event, which takes place between October 11-13, the company is showcasing its ATLAS 11 truck with a combined sewer cleaning superstructure together with its Bulgarian dealer Bulavto.
Otokar, a member of the Koç Group, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, meets representatives of Bulgaria’s municipal and public services sector with ATLAS 11, a powerful member of its light truck family. Together with Bulavto, its authorized dealer in the country, Otokar participates in Municipal EXPO 2026, organized by the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB). The exhibition will take place at Albena Resort between October 11-13.
At Municipal EXPO 2026, which brings together local authorities, mayors and public service providers from Southeast Europe, Otokar is presenting solutions tailored to the infrastructure and environmental cleaning needs of municipalities at the Bulavto stand. As part of the participation, carried out in cooperation with Bulavto, which serves customers across Bulgaria through a strong sales organization and a wide after-sales service network, visitors are introduced to the ATLAS 11 with combined sewer cleaning superstructure, designed for high efficiency in urban infrastructure operations.
AN AGILE AND POWERFUL SOLUTION FOR DEMANDING INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS
Named after the mighty hero of mythology who carries the heavens on his shoulders, the Atlas truck family includes ATLAS 11, an 11-ton gross vehicle weight model that stands out with its high payload capacity and excellent maneuverability. The ATLAS 11 on display throughout the exhibition, fitted with a combined sewer cleaning superstructure, brings together sewer line cleaning, clearing blockages with high-pressure water jetting and removing waste with a powerful vacuum system on a single platform. Its compact dimensions give the vehicle high mobility in narrow city streets and densely built-up areas, while its high-torque engine delivers uninterrupted performance in demanding infrastructure work.
Thanks to cataphoresis-coated chassis, ATLAS 11 offers long-lasting protection against corrosion and ensures chassis durability under harsh municipal working conditions. With low fuel consumption, affordable maintenance and economical operating costs, the vehicle helps municipalities and public contractors keep their budgets under control, and it also stands out with its advanced safety equipment. Featuring active safety systems such as a full air brake system, Electronic Braking System (EBS), Automated Emergency Braking System (AEBS), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC), the model provides the driver with a comfortable working environment through its spacious interior and ergonomic cab design.
